Having a bachelor in Industrial Design in Argentina, and a Social Design Master in Denmark helped me out to develop a technological and participatory mix of skills.

Non apparent related design activities shape anyhow the mind and perspectives of a designer.

In my case, these activities are sketching, reading, but most of all, since I was 4 years old I have played basketball. Playing team basketball my whole life and in different teams and tournaments, forge the way I relate with people. To play in a team at any level you need mainly to know your limitations, your goals, and your role in that team. My responsibility has been sometimes about showing leadership through loudness and some others to simply shutting down. Sometimes is about waking up my teammates through talking and some others through playing harder, but there is not a magical recipe for every person. Creating a team, and keeping your team up is a 24/7 work, because in order to create playing connections is necessary to create connection out-court.

All these years of playing and leading teams have taught me to find different ways to create empathy and to read people, but also to not take anyone for granted nor stay with my first impression.

Non apparent related design activities shape anyhow the mind and perspective of a designer.

I decided to travel to Europe and leave my company and safe life in Argentina in order to look for new challenges and new life's perspectives.

My  main goal was to do a Master but it was a 4 years process since I traveled with a Working Holiday Visa in the beginning and it took me a year and half to get my Italian citizenship (since my grandparents were Italian).

Most of the jobs I found were within the food industry, from working as a dishwasher to work as a cook in a Vietnamese and an American kitchen. In these jobs and during this time I learned to be patient, to not rush the process, to work under stress and to deal with customers.
